I lied. One more celebratory note.

My partner NS and I have made it to the end and are participating in moot court finals.  And you know what? I didn’t think we’d get this far so I didn’t find a substitute for my shift at the library tonight.

Again, congratulations to everyone. To all the teams we have faced, I could write several pages on all of the points that made my partner and I go “Dammit, we’re screwed.” There was terror throughout.

Congratulations again to all my classmates and thank you for your support.

By the way, Cooper’s statements are admissible.

Back to work.

Ronnie/V.Honey – great class round. Ronnie will be top speaker, mark my word.

Dan/Vip – awesome first and second rounds with you guys. You guys really pushed us when we were petitioners and I think you won.

Britt/Wes – kicked our asses I think. There’s a reason you guys do so well, and Britt, great job pigeonholing me – I was flabbergasted when I had to go up as respondent.

Andrew/Gabe – Gabe, great quote, and I think our best round. Andrew, you rock at speaking.

Theresa/GP – you guys were awesome. Theresa, I was impressed with how fiesty you were and the answers you gave to some mega-tough questions.

Tapp/Curtis – all policy, baby, just what I hoped for. Tapp, my hat’s off to you, and sorry about the statute.

Brigg/Harris – I am proud to have faced you guys. Not only was I sure we lost, you guys deserve the ultimate pat on the back for defying the odds and overcoming the brief snafu. Props.

Every other 3Q…as a class we were stellar. It’s been fun.

That statute was definitely bullshit, but I would’ve said the exact same if I were petitioner. Congratulations and good luck tomorrow- you’ve earned it.
